Never Going to Dominick's Again

I found this on Yelp about the Dominick's in Roscoe Village. It was her first and last time going to Dominick's. She bought 2 gallons of milk and both were bad. I'm not surprised. She said they have poor selection and crappy prices. She's going to avoid this place like the plague.

No More Dominick's For Me

Dominick's is absolutely horrendous.

Dominick's is Dirty

Timothy on Yelp says: The "cafe" section of this place is comprised of a few half-broken chairs and tables, ALWAYS with trash and old food all over them. There is one small and overflowing trash in this area as well. There are flies everywhere: in the bathroom, by the trash, flying around the seating area, and in the store itself.

Bottom line, Dominick's is one of the biggest pits ever to be called a grocery store I've ever been in. Save yourself the frustration and the gross-out and just stay away.

Dominick's Sucks

Every once in awhile, I make the mistake of coming here, since it's next door to my bank. Convenient, right? But, nooooooooo. Cos no matter what time of day it is, I guarantee there's gonna be only one checkout lane open; the line is at least five people deep. So, yr five minute trip is gonna be at least a 25 minute one. Ten minutes into my wait, I usually say "Fuck it," and walk to the Jewel-Osco across the street. They have lots of cashiers. And a self-checkout.

Man, I really hate Dominick's.

Tom on Yelp says: Stay far away from Dominick's! Food is ridiculously, and possibly criminally, over priced. Some of their frozen food looked like it had thawed out and then was re-frozen and put back out.

Dominick's Produce is Yuck

We Still Hate Dominick's

Joan says: i hate dominicks. Their cash registers are never programed right. The customer is overcharged all the time. They have signs up on merchandise giving the sale price and you go to the check out counter and get charged the regular price. You have to stop every time and check and recheck your receipt for the right price. I'm tired of this treatment.

Even the Employees Hate Dominicks

Here's what one employee had to say: I, unfortunatly, am employed by Dominicks. I have worked for the company for 12 years. With the recent events with the Union/Safeway negotiations and all it has made the workers all very bitter and downright evil. I just got transfered from the store in countryside. I have never seen a more miserable woman in all my life than the deli manager in that store. She has a miserable home life and she sucks as a manager. I think anyone who shops at Dominicks will find this attitude alot in the stores, especially getting closer to July. I personally hope we have jobs when its over but under new managers.

Dominick's Chicken - Not Good Either
